A stunning?diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 18kt white gold and holds a sparkling old European Cut diamond prong set at the center. The diamond weighs 1.59ct and has E color with VS2 clarity. A fine flowing wirework design travels along the sides and edges of the mounting, complete with?lacy cutouts, delicate milgrained detail, and hand engraving. At the back?is a tapered band which is stamped "18K" along the shank. Accompanying the ring is a diamond grading report issued by EGL USA Gemological Laboratories on May 14, 2014 (Report No. US 911065304D), giving a full evaluation of the center diamond. Measurements:?The ring has a finger size 6, but could be resized if desired. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn, and the tapered?band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition:?The overall condition of the ring?is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond is intact and securely set.
